Darty Season with Peep

When it was announced that Friday, April 2, would be designated as a day for engagement and wellness for the students of Northwest Missouri State University- Thursday became the new Friday- which many can agree is the best day of the week. The vibe on campus was optimistic. The weekend was in sight, the sun was shining and it was opening day for Major League Baseball. If you were on campus this past Thursday, you may have heard some music playing from outside the union. You may have thought it was coming from the Bell Tower, but if you looked around, you had see a group of students surrounding a giant speaker. If you had got a little closer, you would have seen this was the Peep Connect booth.

At this booth, Peep Connect did one of the things it does best: engage with the community. Thursday wasn’t a normal day, so why not celebrate? At the booth, EDM music was bumpin’ and visors were passed out. Some may consider them poker hats, which they certainly are, but these visors are also the epitome of celebration, more specifically, the epitome of a darty. With Thursday being as unique and great as it was, we saw an opportunity to make the day even better. This event provided a fun and exciting way to engage with the community and finish the week.
